Our interventions

what we do to achieve the Strategic Objectives

  • We advocate for protection and promotion of Human Rights, especially the rights to Information, Education, Health and full recognition of male sex work in Uganda.
  • Sensitize the male sex work community on prevention of Sexually Transmitted Infections such as HIV/AIDS and other diseases
  • Establishing partnerships and collaborations and networks with individuals and organizations that share the same interest of supporting male sex workers.
  • Mobilizing male sex workers to come together as a family to support each other and have a uniformed voice for a strong sex work movement.
  • Identify health facilities that provide friendly health services to male sex workers and make referrals.
  • Empowering male sex workers with economic skills and knowledge like conducting small business planning sessions.
  • Provide first legal aid to male sex workers experienced with human right violation and refer the case to pro bono legal organizations.
  • Sensitize male sex workers on human rights and laws that affects them
  • Sensitize male sex workers on HIV prevention and other sexual transmitted diseases and non-communicable diseases.
  • Build the capacity of male sex workers to demand for own rights through building confidence in them.
  • Bring stakeholders on board and orient them about the health issues and rights of sex workers to influence change in attitude towards male sex workers
